SHOOTING 23 LIFE MEMBERS (from left): Colin Whitehead, Wayne Gurney, John Hill, Herb Whitehead, “Plum” Werchon, Cliff Lee. Lake Bonney novelty shoot IT was a slightly breezy day for the last shoot for Lake Bonney in 2014, with an impressive turnout of 105 shooters competing in the novelty event. As well as the novelty course set by volunteers, shooters could also try their luck in the flush shoot in which shooters paired up in teams to shoot at 50 targets in 90 seconds. It was a case of the girls showing the boys how to shoot, with the team of Maddie Redman and Tasha Bellinger topping the leader board, having missed only one target out of the 50. A number of life memberships were presented to some of the club’s founding members in appreciation of their commitment, dedication and hard work over the years, including Colin Whitehead, Herb Whitehead, Wayne Gurney, John Hill, “Plum” Werchon and Cliff Lee.
