SPORT 23 Region 1 SE runners-up Bowls SA Country Round Robin in Adelaide Men THE state’s eight bowls regions contested for the honours in the recent Bowls SA Country Round Robin held in Adelaide last week in hot conditions. Women these sides will not be meeting in the finals. Mount Burr IT has been a long time since the Rats have had a game of cricket due to the scheduled bye and a forfeit by Robe. It is hard to see why Mount Burr has had a struggle to field a team given that it has four footy sides on the park on every weekend of winter. Last weekend, another two veterans in Justin Muhovics and Josh Peters got the call to make up the numbers. There should be some entertaining cricket played with a winner hard to pick. THE women finished fourth, however were unlucky with the draw and had the opportunity to take out third place.
