The South Eastern Times encourages readers to submit photographs from events not covered by a SE Times photographer Send photos and captions with the name of the event to journo1@setimes.com.au 1 PINE SPORTS DAY AT GLENCOE CENTRAL PRIMARY SCHOOL 4 2 3 STUDENTS from four primary schools sprinted, jumped and worked as a team in sporting events during Pine Sports Day last Wednesday. Hosted by Glencoe Central Primary School, students participated in ball games, long jump, sprints, relays and more in fine weather conditions. Kalangadoo, Nangwarry, Mount Burr and Glencoe Central primary schools competed for the shield. Mount Burr came out on top followed by Glencoe, Nangwarry and Kalangadoo. The shield was presented by Wattle Range Mayor Peter Gandolfi. 5 1: Montana McKay prepares to jump at Pine Sports Day to score points for Mount Burr. 2: Aiden Hurley leaping into action for Glencoe at Pine Sports Day. 3: Ty Dinnison flies high for Nangwarry Primary School at Glencoe on Wednesday. 4: Glencoe’s Emily Thompson sprints down the track to score her school points. 5: Hayley Vanderhorst jumps to score points for Mount Burr. 6: Sam Longhurst on his mark for the sprints event. 7: Zach Crouch leaps onto the sand during the long jump event at Pine Sports Day. 8: Mount Burr’s Reed Gardiner speeds down the sprints track. 9: Mount Burr’s Bessie Leake takes her long jump. 10: Mia Bellinger makes a solid jump for Glencoe at Pine Sports Day. 11: Kalangadoo Primary School’s Banjo Sampson makes a strong start in the junior primary sprints. 12: Glencoe’s Scott Williams leaps onto the sand at Pine Sports Day. 13: Danny Khan makes a run for it at Pine Sports Day.
