Racegoers step up competition with classy attire THE state’s horse racing fashion ambassador Kate Freebairn will make her debut at the Scott Group of Companies Mount Gambier Gold Cup tomorrow. The fashion savvy Ten News weather presenter is this year’s ambassador for the statewide Fashion at the Races, which kicks off at the Gold Cup. Kate will attend many races throughout the year hosting and judging numerous fashion events in the search for South Australia’s most stylish racegoer. Sixteen fi nalists will be selected from Fashion at The Races heats at race meetings throughout the year, culminating with the Fashion at The Races State Final at Sportingbet SA Derby Day in May next year.
